Series comes back after the end of season 5 with another well rated season 6 on 9-20-1995. First episode from season was entitled ‘Bitter Fruit’.  With the beginning of the season 6, we do see a young girl who disappears between her school and music lesson and Briscoe along with his new partner, Det. Reynaldo Curtis investigates the case. During the season, they both deal with very tough situations while investigating the murder of a college student. A triple murder at a publishing company leads to a case of sibling rivalry, a protective matriarch and a corrupt judge. After dealing with innumerous murders and crimes and detectives working hard to go into the depth, season comes to an end on 5-22-1996 with the episode entitled ‘Aftershock’. On this season ender, Kincaid, McCoy, Briscoe, and Curtis do witness the execution of a criminal and react in different and extreme ways.
