Law & Order season 9 was debuted on 9-23-1998 and the first episode from season was entitled ‘Cherished’. Season begins when a baby gal is found dead and while investigating her case, Briscoe and Curtis discover that baby’s adoptive mother and her brother are trying to keep some secrets hidden. Angie Harmon joins the Law & Order cast during the ninth season. Season comes to an end on 5-29-1999 with the season finale ‘Refuge: Part 2’. Season ends with a powerful two-partner dealing with Russian Mafia.

A baby girl is found dead and while investigating the case, Briscoe and Curtis discover that family is trying to keep some facts hidden for some unknown purposes. Jack gets a new partner, Abbie Carmichael. On the other hand, McCoy and Carmichael are proving the fact that little girl’s brother is responsible for little girl’s death.
